I had to make a change to a Japanese email template today, and had no idea what the words I was changing meant, so wondered if Google could help. It could and it makes sense. Very impressed.

  • Interestingly when you translate "Why did the chicken cross the road?" you get "なぜ鶏は道を交差させたか."
When you translate that back you get "Why, the chicken makes the road cross and is high."...

  • There is a new game on the Net where you find a page which is not in English, and use Google's translate feature, with hilarious results sometimes. French recipe sites are a good example
